Dear Parents,
I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone and how soon most of our children will be leaving us for “big School”. From this week on your children will be visiting their new nursery classes and we will endeavour to make sure that every child will have at least one visit every fortnight. I’m sure that these visits will help enormously with your child’s transition to school.
Sponsored Pedal
I can’t thank enough those parents, grandparents and family friends that supported our sponsored pedal. You raised a fantastic £520 and as a result we have been able to purchase the two extra bikes needed. Let’s hope that we will have plenty of opportunity to use them over the next five weeks. Thank you so much, your fantastic efforts have given us the opportunity not only to buy these bikes but to look to replace other worn and new toys.
End of Term
The summer term will end on Thursday 21 July. (We will be closed on the Friday).
Many thanks
Mair

Parents Comments
"The playgroup is of a very high standard and both myself and my husband have been extremely happy and may I say impressed with the range and quality of service provided by your playgroup. May I add our sincere thanks to you and your staff for the very happy time both our son and daughter have had under your care."
Mr and Mrs Williams
"Thank you for making my child's experience an extremely positive one. Thanks to you and your wonderful staff, I think he is now better prepared to start School."
Sarah Vale
"I cannot praise this playgroup enough, it is excellent. My daughter has had problems going in to playgroup but the Leaders have been brilliant and have really helped to settle her ready for Nursery class. I would just like to say what a brilliant playgroup it is and I trust the Leaders 100%."
Mrs Bailey
"Since my daughter started playgroup she has always come home happy and has enjoyed her time there. I feel this has given her a good introduction into School life and hope her time in Nursery is as happy as playgroup was."
"Even though my son was attending a day nursery twice a week, his speech and confidence has really improved and he loves the singing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. He sings all evening !!"
Mrs S Paull
Our daughter has had a fantastic time in playgroup over the last year, interacting with children and learning through play. I was particularly impressed with some of the activities/events such as visiting the Post Office, planting, Xmas Concert, farm visit, making gingerbread men and looking at nature, which I would not have expected at this age. I feel the playgroup and teachers have played a big part in my daughters development, which will take her through to starting School and would definitely recommend the playgroup. Having a report on our daughters development is extremely helpful."
Mrs Claire Thomas
When asked how we could improve our service, Mr and Mrs Thomas suggested that being updated on their child's development throughout the term would have been helpful as a guide on things to work on at home. Thank you very much for your input, as a result we will take this into consideration when planning for future meetings with parents.
