Who Works At The Playgroup
The playgroup has four staff and all are police checked every three years.
Mair Harris – Playgroup Leader
Qualifications
Mair holds a Cache Level 3 Diploma in Playgroup Practice
Holds a current First Aid Certificate
Food and Hygiene Certificate
Mair has worked at the Playgroup/Nursery since 1994 and has been its leader since 2001.
Mair has experience as asupport worker for children with special needs and has advanced child protection training.
Ann Martin (Deputy Leader)
Qualifications
Ann holds a Cache level 3 Diploma in Playgroup Practice
Holds a current First Aid Certificate
Food and Hygiene Certificate
Ann has worked at the Playgroup/Nursery since 1994 and has been its Deputy Leader since 2001.
Ann has experience as a support worker for children with special needs and has advanced child protection training.
Rita Issac
Qualifications
Rita is currently working towards an NVQ level 3 in childcare
Rita has lots of experience working with nursery age children after working as a Teachers Aide for two years.
Holds a current First Aid Certificate and has child protection training. She also holds a current food and hygiene certificate
Rita has worked at the playgroup since December 2004.
Zoe Hemburrow
We are delighted to welcome Zoe to work as part of our team this year. Last year Zoe worked at the playgroup as emergency cover, but we are now lucky to have her join us on a more permanent basis. Zoe is hoping to start a NVQ level 3 in children this September. Zoe has child protection training.
Sharon Drew
Qualifications
Sharon has worked at the playgroup since 2009 and has an NVQ level 2 in childcare and has also almost finished her NVQ level 3 in childcare. Sharon has child protection training and has experience working with children with special needs.
